Seamogano is a Media Studies lecturer at the University of Botswana and has a career that spans close to 20 years. Seamogano has worked as reporter and news editor at the Botswana Television hence a vast understanding of the communication industry. She is a highly organised and reputable communication specialist in media and communication field. Her areas of expertise include media training, ability to lead teams, management of media functions, management of internal and external stakeholders, development of communication strategies among others. Seamogano is one of the pioneers of Botswana national television; Botswana Television and has also helped develop its editorial guidelines during the station’s formative years. Seamogano holds a PhD in Journalism from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, a Master of Arts in Journalism (International) from the University of Westminster in London, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Botswana.
